These terms govern your use of Ledger Brief (https://www.ledgerbrief.co). By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Use of the directory

Ledger Brief is a free-to-browse directory of AI tools for accountants and bookkeepers. No account or registration is required to search, filter, or view listings. You may use the directory for personal and professional reference purposes.

User-submitted reviews

Anyone may submit a review of a listed tool. All reviews are moderated before publication. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are spam, defamatory, contain personal attacks, or do not appear to be based on genuine product experience.

By submitting a review, you grant Ledger Brief a non-exclusive, perpetual license to display your review on the site. You represent that your review reflects your honest experience and opinion.

Premium listings

Tool vendors can claim and upgrade their listings through a self-serve process. Premium listing subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe at the following tiers:

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day refund policy on the first payment for any tier — if you are not satisfied, email us within 14 days of your initial charge for a full refund.

Accuracy disclaimer

Tool information, pricing, features, and integrations listed on Ledger Brief are provided for general reference. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy. Tool details change frequently. Always verify pricing, features, and capabilities directly with the tool vendor before making a purchasing decision.

Intellectual property

All editorial content on Ledger Brief — including tool descriptions, comparison narratives, curated lists, and original reviews — is copyrighted by Ledger Brief. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish this content without written permission.

Tool names, logos, and trademarks displayed on this site belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion in the directory does not imply endorsement by or affiliation with Ledger Brief.

Limitation of liability

Ledger Brief is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, reliance on listed information, or interactions with third-party tools or services linked from the directory. Our total liability for any claim related to the site shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of Ledger Brief after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
